Welcome to my dev site. This is where I keep code and notes and whatever else I’m working on at the moment.
I’ve been building for the web for over ten years and I’m a forever student. The field never stops moving, so there’s always something new to break or fix or figure out. I like cyberdecks and the indie web, which is why this site runs on Jekyll.
I also love old sci-fi and how it predicted futures that are more probable by the day. Away from the keyboard I host A (slightly) Better Tomorrow, a podcast about futures. The name comes from Kevin Kelly’s protopia, a world that’s a little better today than it was yesterday. I ask the people in my life and beyond what that looks like to them.

Want to build something together or just say hi? I’m githugs@proton.me, and I love seeing what people make.
This site was built on a hand-rolled jekyll theme that started life as minima and is now wearing dracula colors with stickers of things from my real life.
